Two Minute Drill: My Biggest Gamble, Going All In
What’s up Kaizenovators, happy Tuesday Two Minute Drill. I am here in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Nevada Chiropractic Council meeting. I got a chance to speak yesterday to a great group of chiropractors, and it got me thinking about gambling and the history of gambling. Today’s topic of conversation is my biggest gamble and how I went all in.
We are Going All In
It started back in the Paleolithic period and the earliest dice were found in Mesopotamia about 3000 years ago. That means that people have been gambling for about 5,000 years. In fact, the earliest dice were made out of knucklebones.
Vegas was formed in 1905, it was a stopover between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. When they decided to build a Hoover Dam in 1931, they legalized gambling here. And the rest is just history.
It got me thinking about the biggest gamble that I ever took in my life. That was in 2019 when I started Kaizenovate the technology company, to build mobile apps for chiropractors. I have never done it before, not a technology expert by any stretch of the imagination at that time. However, I knew something needed to be done, I knew patients needed a digital experience, and I knew that we needed to create a more remarkable experience for patients and meet them where they are, which is on their phones.
fast forward three years later, we have some great news to share. We have just passed the 20,000 patient milestone and we now have 20,000 patients on the app. It continues to grow exponentially and this would not be possible without my amazing team and our incredible customers who have just done a great job sharing this technology with their patients to improve their outcomes and improve the chiropractor’s practice income.
We are super excited, we are doubling down, and we are going all in. We continue to invest in technology and we invest in our future for our customers.
Thank you, guys, so much, I really am so excited about this. It’s incredible to see this growth happening exponentially is really exciting and we are looking forward to more impact in the future.
That’s the week’s Two Minute Drill. I’ll talk to you all next week.
