TMD: Be Authentic To Yourself
Two Minute Drill: Be Authentic To Yourself
In this week’s TMD I am in Phoenix, Arizona. I have been here all week at the ChiroCongress Annual Convention. Today’s message doesn’t really have anything to do with this, it has to do with feedback. Watch this week’s TMD hear about some surprising feedback I received and what I realized.
Feedback
Today, I am coming to you from Phoenix, Arizona. I have been here all week with the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations. We had our national convention here. Also, the Summit and Chiro Tech Consortium groups met this week. It was a very productive and awesome week.
Today’s message is about feedback. This week, I was surprised to receive some feedback about my appearance, my clothes, my hair… and the fact that I don’t take business relationships seriously.
I am a big believer in getting feedback, to be the best version of ourself we need feedback from others. However, at the same time, after suffering from decades of mental health issues worrying about what other people think of me, I got to a point in my life where all of this changed.
What I realized and I want you to realize is that the most important person you need to be authentic to is yourself! Because guess what? Those people that are judging you don’t walk in your shoes. You will be so much happier, so much healthier, when you are the most authentic to yourself. Those who are making judgments are not judging others, they are making a statement about themselves.
Take feedback, learn from it, and at the same time commit to yourself so that you can be the happiest you have ever been.
Your questions and feedback are always welcome and appreciated!
