Two Minute Drill:
Changing Our Reality, One Thought at a Time

What’s up Kaizenovators, Happy Tuesday Two Minute Drill. Today’s topic of conversation is our brains. I’m listening to this book by Joe Dispenza, “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself.” It’s heavy, and I’m probably going to have to listen to it a couple of times to try and absorb all the information.

Beyond Our Thoughts

Some key things stand out for me, and I just thought I would share.

First, I recommend you get this book. CLICK HERE.

I believe there are always ways that we can improve our lives. We all deal with challenges every now and then, and sometimes more often than we would like. I think this book helps to at least define for me why some of these things are occurring.

I’ve often said to people, for some reason, I feel like there’s something going on in my brain that prevents me from breaking through to that next level of where I want to be, of what I want to accomplish, of my level of happiness in my life. I’m starting to understand through this book why this is occurring.

Our reality essentially is driven by our thoughts and our feelings. Many times, consciously or subconsciously, we are just reinforcing those thoughts. We’re not trying to create a reality if that reality is not what we want it to be. But it’s happening anyway because our thoughts are driving that reality.

As I go through this book, I’ll probably share a couple of gems with you.

The most important thing that I want you to understand today is that if you are not in a place in your life that you want to be, if there are things just going wrong, your life is great but things are going wrong, or not as well as you would like, and you’d like to make improvements in those areas, I would highly encourage you to think about how you need to be different as a human. And how you need to be different as a human always starts with how we think and how we feel.

That’s this week’s Two Minute Drill, breaking the habit of being ourselves.

I’ll continue to share as I go along this journey. I hope you guys will get the book, check it out, and go on this journey with me.

Have a great week, and I’ll talk to y’all next week.

TMD: Out with the Old, In with the New

TMD: Out with the Old, In with the New

Two Minute Drill:
Out with the Old, In with the New

What’s up Kaizenovators, Happy Tuesday Two Minute Drill. Today’s topic of conversation is “Out with the Old.” Next to me, I have this lovely little Christmas tree. This thing has been sitting here for two years. Yes, two years. It is a nice little tree and it served me well, decorating the house.

New Year, New Mindset

I didn’t turn the lights on, but there are lights on it. I’m afraid if I turn the lights on right now, the whole thing will go up in flames because this tree is so dry.

Why did I hold onto this thing for so long?

I did some research on why we hold on to things that clutter our lives, physically, maybe even emotionally.

One reason might be the fear of losing something valuable. That’s not it for me.

Two, maybe it’s memories of the past or something sentimental that we don’t want to forget, and maybe that’s why.

Or three, the concern that we might not have the resources to replace it if we get rid of it now. That’s not it for me either.

So, I’m going to get rid of this tree today. I’m going to chop it up and use it for kindling for my outdoor fire pit, so the tree can still serve some purpose in my life.

What else do I need to let go of, out with the old, and maybe in with something better?

One of the things that I’m going to let go of this year, in 2024, to the best of my ability, is negative self-talk.

I’ve had a lot of that throughout my life, and it’s no longer serving me well. In fact, it probably never served me well, but it’s not serving 2024.

So yeah, out with the old, out with the old negative self-talk. And I want to know from you guys, what are you getting rid of?

What is no longer serving you? What is your “out with the old” that is going to make your life better in 2024? Please, please share, okay?

Alright, that’s this week’s Two Minute Drill, out with the old.

Have a great week, you guys.

Two Minute Drill:
Setting the 2024 Agenda: Strength, Happiness, and Big Dreams

What’s up Kaizenovators, Happy Tuesday Two Minute Drill, and Happy 2024! I use an app called the 5 Minute Journal. I learned about this app many years ago from an event called Mastermind Talks, and I’ve been using it ever since. Recently, the app underwent an update, and it’s even better than ever.

It’s all about letting go in order to grow

Today, when I opened up the app, it asked me a series of questions to help set the course for 2024 for me. Today, I want to share these questions with you.

The first question was all about letting go to grow. What do you need to let go of—a negative thought, a limiting belief? What do you need to let go of in order to grow in 2024?

Number two, it’s all about facing your fear. What is that one, two, or three big fears that you’ve been holding onto that you need to stop holding onto so you can break through, level up, and reach your next level of genius?

Number three, utilizing your strengths. What are your greatest strengths? What are your top three greatest strengths? This is a hard one for me.

For a minute or two, I had to think about my strengths. Sometimes we recognize strengths in others, and we have a hard time recognizing them in ourselves.

This is a great question for you: How do you leverage those strengths to ensure success in 2024?

Number four, it’s all about cultivating happiness. What makes you happy? What are the things that you enjoy doing that bring out joy and happiness in your life?

Number five, it’s all about dreaming big. What are the big dreams that you’ve had? What are the one, two, or three big dreams that you’ve had that you’ve put off, maybe because you have negative thoughts or limiting beliefs, because you have fears, or because maybe you don’t understand your strengths, or you don’t know exactly how to cultivate your maximal level of happiness?

What is that one big dream that you want to go after in 2024 and make sure that nothing stops you?

Again, to repeat, it’s all about letting go in order to grow. It’s about facing your fears, utilizing your strengths, cultivating your happiness, and making sure that you dream big for the best year ever in 2024.

That’s this week’s Two Minute Drill.

You guys, thanks for spending time with me today, and I’m looking forward to talking to you next week.

Key AI and Tech Trends Chiropractors Must Adopt
for a Thriving 2024

As the year draws to a close and we approach the threshold of 2024, it’s time for reflection and forward-thinking—especially in the realm of healthcare delivery.

In an era where healthcare delivery is more scrutinized than ever, patient experience has emerged as a key differentiator for successful practices.

As healthcare providers, we share a collective dedication to patient satisfaction, understanding its critical role in cultivating excellent care, glowing reviews, and valuable referrals.

Now, December is not just a season of festivities but a period of strategic planning.

At the top of that priority list? The integration of technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into our practices.

In chiropractic care, where the personal touch and holistic approach are essential, the seamless incorporation of tech becomes even more crucial.

As we set our sights on 2024, let this be the December when we commit to that transformation.

2024, is our time to embrace the tools and technologies that will not only enhance patient care but will also streamline our operations and set the stage for a thriving, future-focused practice.

Implementing advanced technologies now is the key to unlocking a year of unparalleled patient satisfaction and practice growth.

The countdown has begun.

Let’s invest in technology and AI—the defining factors that will shape an exceptional patient experience and a remarkable 2024.

Telehealth – Bridging the Distance with AI

The evolution of Telehealth has been accelerated, transforming from a convenience to a necessity.

AI takes this a step further, with intelligent systems enhancing telehealth services by optimizing appointment scheduling, personalizing treatment plans, and even predicting patient outcomes to fine-tune care.

These advancements ensure continuous, high-quality care, bridging the gap between in-person visits and maintaining patient engagement.

Set up a user-friendly telehealth platform that allows for virtual consultations.

This could include a secure video conferencing tool specifically designed for healthcare providers, enabling you to conduct remote assessments, offer advice, and guide patients through exercises or self-care routines.

A perfect example of such a platform is doxy.me. This telehealth solution offers a secure, easy-to-use interface for both providers and patients.

Home Exercise Programs (HEP) – A New Era with AI Integration

As we move into 2024, the introduction of AI-powered Home Exercise Programs (HEP) is set to transform chiropractic care.

This innovative approach personalizes exercises for each patient, moving beyond the conventional one-size-fits-all model.

By utilizing AI, chiropractors will be able to quickly and efficiently design exercise programs that adapt to the unique needs and progress of each patient.

Implementation Teaser:

In the realm of AI-powered Home Exercise Programs (HEP), we’re brewing something truly special – and it’s not just about revolutionizing HEP.

We’re keeping the lid on this secret a little longer, but rest assured, it’s something that will spark a wave of excitement and innovation in chiropractic care.

Digital Practice Management – Streamlining Operations

The efficiency and experience within a chiropractic clinic can be significantly enhanced through advanced technology. Utilizing digital tools for clinic operations not only elevates the quality of patient care but also streamlines the entire practice management process.

By incorporating digital check-ins and automated reminders, clinics can create a more modern, patient-centered environment. This approach is instrumental in reducing wait times, minimizing no-shows, and ultimately, boosting patient satisfaction. A tech-friendly clinic not only appeals to the contemporary patient but also represents a forward-thinking practice.

Implementation: To bring this digital transformation to life, adopting an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is key.

Genesis Chiropractic Software as an example goes beyond traditional record-keeping; it automates crucial aspects of clinic operations, from appointment scheduling to sending out patient reminders.

This not only improves the efficiency of administrative tasks but also enhances the overall patient experience.

The integration of an EHR like Genesis into your practice is not just about keeping up with the times; it’s about setting your practice apart as a leader in patient care and operational excellence.

Data-Driven Patient Care – Leveraging Big Data for Better Outcomes

In 2024, data is king! Big data is revolutionizing personalized patient care.

By aggregating and analyzing vast amounts of patient data, chiropractors can gain deep insights into patient preferences and behaviors.

Predictive analytics can then tailor treatment plans to the unique needs of each patient, enhancing the efficacy of care provided.

Use a platform that aggregates and analyzes patient data to identify trends and improve treatment approaches.

This could involve a tool that tracks patient progress over time, offering insights into the effectiveness of different treatment modalities.

A prime example of such a platform is BlueIQ.

With its robust data analysis capabilities, BlueIQ helps identify effective treatment approaches, ensuring that each patient receives care that is not just based on general practices but is customized to their specific health needs and progress.

The Future of Patient Education and Engagement

Patient education and engagement are critical to successful treatment.

AI and technology offer dynamic tools for education, from interactive apps that provide personalized resources to Virtual Reality platforms that offer immersive explanations of chiropractic care.

The engagement continues beyond the office, with apps that track progress and offer educational content that empowers patients in their OWN health journey.

A key approach to elevating patient education is employing VR and Augmented Reality (AR) tools.

These technologies can be used to create vivid, interactive experiences that help patients grasp complex concepts related to their treatment.

As an example, you can use Kinetisense. They offer an excellent illustration of how VR/AR can be used in chiropractic education and rehabilitation.

Their technology provides an innovative way to assess and educate patients.

Preparing for the Future – Continuous Learning and Adaptation

As chiropractic practices look to the future, integrating these technological advances becomes imperative.

Chiropractors must begin by assessing their current technology infrastructure, training staff, and engaging with tech trends.

Continuous learning and adaptability are the keys to successfully implementing these technologies and staying ahead in the field.

Two Minute Drill: Looking Back to Leap Forward

What’s up Kaizenovators, Happy Tuesday Two Minute Drill. Today’s topic of conversation is reflection. This is the time of year, it’s already December, believe it or not.  This is the time of the year when we need to start thinking about what’s going to happen in 2024 to make it even better.

Revisiting 2023

The thing that I want you to do right now is to pull out a sheet of paper or pull out your computer and ask yourself a couple of questions.

The key is to be honest in your answers.

  • Question number one: What went great in 2023?
  • Question number two: What didn’t go as well as you would have liked?
  • Question number three: What did you learn from things not going as well as you would have liked?
  • Question number four: What specifically will you do differently to get a better result in 2024?

Now, this is not about setting SMART goals or the five HOWs, the five times that you ask the question “How” when you’re setting up a goal. We’ll talk about that in a future TMD.

This is really about mindset and behavior. How will you act differently? How will you think differently in order to achieve a better result in 2024?

I did this for one of our companies, and my grades were some good, and some not so good, but going through this exercise, I was able to learn and identify where I could do better.

So guys, ask the questions: What went great? What didn’t go as expected? What did you learn and what will you do differently moving forward to achieve an even better result in 2024?

Let’s make that happen this week, you guys!

Have a great week, and I’ll talk to you all next week.
