Two Minute Drill: “TZEDAKAH”
What’s up Kaizenovators, happy Tuesday Two Minute Drill! I am down in Orlando, Florida for the Florida Chiropractic Association, which is their CE Makeup Session. This week’s TMD is about the Hebrew word tzedakah, which means charity.
Let’s Support Ukraine
This is the last time the Florida Chiropractic Association members will be able to get their CEs for this license renewal. I had a great morning. I was able to teach with my very good friend, Mr. Brad Cost on the “Ethical Implementation of Technology into Healthcare and Chiropractic Practice” and then also taught a course on “Leadership Leverage”. It’s how to incorporate the appropriate mindset, purpose, and people in the process of becoming better leaders so we can create more impact in the world.
Speaking of more impact in the world, that’s really what this TMD is all about. It’s about the Hebrew word Tzedakah, which means charity. I’ve been thinking a lot about what’s going on in Ukraine.
I’ve been having, you know, my normal life having fun, going to Utah skiing, getting stuck in snowbanks. I’ll follow up on that in a future TMD. At the end of the day, while I am having fun, I also have these feelings of guilt about what’s going on in Ukraine. I know that I want to / I will / we can, in our companies collectively, maybe even as a profession, do more. So we’re committing 1% of our corporate profits just to start, but hopefully even more, to the people of Ukraine, through a variety of different charities, organizations that will provide medical services, care, and supplies. Organizations that will provide food, shelter, and clothing. We have to give back. I feel compelled to give back. Unfortunately, this rings very true of what happened, in the 1940s, when Germany invaded the countries of Europe, a pathological A*****, killed innocent people from 1939 through 1945. It feels to me, very similar. Putin is a pathological A***** and we have to do whatever we can to support the people that are adversely affected by this maniac.
And so, we are doing our parts. I want to raise awareness about that. So, in turn, hopefully, that will stimulate, that will motivate, and will inspire others to do the same. Whether it is $1, a hundred dollars, or a thousand dollars, I would encourage each and every one of you to find ways to support the people of Ukraine because you know that they need us now more than ever. When we look back on history, which has its eyes on us, we will want to reflect back and say, we did the right thing.
So That’s this week’s TMD. It is all about Tzedakah, hopefully in the next few weeks to several months, the world will be in a better place, but let’s do our part to support the people that need us the most.
Thank you so much and see you all next week.
